Goal: ship 1.0 only after install, update, backup, retention, and restore flows have been exercised.

  • Run the full test suite.
  • Fresh install on a clean VM/server.
  • Upgrade test from the current production install.
  • Confirm scheduled backup, manual backup, dry-run, cancellation, retention, log view, and dashboard.
  • Add or update CHANGELOG.md.
  • Set package/application version to 1.0.0.
  • Tag the release.

Suggested commit tag: (release)
